Scopes
Scopes are the organizing boundary for managed resources. They help separate teams, environments, applications, or infrastructure domains.
Scope design
Section titled “Scope design”Prefer scopes that match operational responsibility. Examples include environment-based scopes such as production-linux, application scopes such as payments, or platform scopes such as database-operations.
Delegation
Section titled “Delegation”Scope permissions allow teams to delegate resource management without granting global administration.
Audit value
Section titled “Audit value”Scopes make review easier because resources, policies, users, and jobs can be filtered through a meaningful ownership boundary.
