Getting Started

Anchor centralizes privileged resource operations around inventory, policy, execution jobs, session access, and audit evidence. A first evaluation works best when it starts with the control model and then expands toward sensitive infrastructure.

Start with a non-production environment. Create a small set of representative resources, attach policies, run verification jobs, review rotation behavior, and inspect the logs generated by each action.

  • Anchor API: the control-plane API and execution orchestration layer.
  • Anchor UI: the console for operators, administrators, and reviewers.
  • PostgreSQL: authoritative persistence for configuration, job state, and audit metadata.
  • Anchor Connect: component layer for brokered session workflows.

A strong first milestone is one resource type, one or two scopes, a clear policy, working verification, and readable audit history. That proves the operating model before expansion.
