Atlas

One map of who can reach what in your estate, and a plain-language answer to why.

Atlas draws people, groups, roles, Scopes, Policies, Targets and accounts as one map, built from Anchor’s own records. Start from a person, an account, or yourself, and choose how many steps out to look. Atlas only reads: it never changes anything and never shows a secret.

Atlas starting from Sarah Mitchell two steps out, showing her team, her roles, the Scopes she reaches and the people around her
Atlas from Sarah Mitchell, AcmeCorp's database lead, two steps out: her team, her roles, the Scopes she reaches and the people beside her.

Select a second node and Atlas lights the path between the two, with every step written out.

Atlas showing the access path from Sarah Mitchell to acme-pg01 in four explained steps
Why can Sarah reach acme-pg01? Four steps: her team, the team's operator role on ACME-DATABASE, and the Scope that holds the server.
  • Access shows who can reach what, and through which grant.
  • Governance shows which Policies apply and where they were set.
  • Why blocked? explains why work can’t run, including whether an Engine is available to the Scope.
  • Action codes is a catalogue of everything Anchor records: each code with its severity, what leads to it, and a link to its audit records.
